Kiken na Yuuwaku (危険な誘惑, Literally meaning "Dangerous Temptation") is the drama in the first drama CD for DARLING in the FRANXX, included in DVD Volume 2. In this drama, members of Squad 13 eat mushrooms that makes them have strange dreams.

Synopsis

Zorome and Futoshi are running in the woods at Mistilteinn when Zorome tells Futoshi not to go so fast but Futoshi leaves him. Zorome grumbles about Futoshi having fast legs even though he is fat. Futoshi shouts to not call him fat.

Hiro narrates how he loves the days when the squad doesn't have to fight Klaxosaurs, and he feels warmth in his chest. Hiro then tells the listeners about one of the events that happen in those days.

One day, Hiro notices Goro and Mitsuru in the living room but wonders where Zorome and Futoshi are. Goro says he doesn't know and Mitsuru says that Zorome and Futoshi must be wandering off somewhere and they will be back if they're hungry. Zorome and Futoshi come into the boarding house and show the other boys a bag of mushrooms they found in the woods. Mitsuru feels disgusted at the sight and Hiro recognizes them as mushrooms. Hiro curiously eats a mushroom, causing him to instantly fall asleep. The other boys check on him and are relieved that he is just sleeping, but Hiro starts laughing hysterically and mumbling Zero Two‘s name, as he is dreaming about her and saying she is funny. The boys try waking him up by calling out to him and shaking him but fail. Zorome finally slaps him across the face and Hiro finally wakes up but is still dreaming of Zero Two even though he is awake.

Futoshi becomes curious and eats a mushroom before falling asleep. In his dream, he is a student in a school, in break time where the students run to the cafeteria to buy breads. Futoshi decides to buy Katsu Sandwich, but the baker lady tells him that Katsu Sandwich has been sold out. Futoshi contemplates what bread he should buy, and in the end he buys Anpan. While eating, Futoshi says Anpan has a familiar flavour and it suits him better than Katsu Sandwich. Futoshi then mumbles “Goro-kun".

In the real world, Goro screams that he is Goro. Mitsuru is confused and Goro answers he’s doing a tsukkomi. Zorome tries to wake Futoshi but fails. Zorome becomes afraid at the thought he had brought dangerous things. Mitsuru suggests that they burn the mushrooms. Goro agrees but Zorome becomes angry because he had went through the trouble to pick and brought it to the house.

Zorome eats one and dreams about going to a karaoke bar with after taking extra classes from Hachi. Zorome searches for room 3055, where his friends are at. When Zorome enters the room, the boys are going to sing Torikago. Zorome snatches the mic from Futoshi and begins to sing. Futoshi and Hiro are enjoying Zorome’s singing and cheering for him, but Mitsuru is annoyed at his friends' antics. Goro says Mitsuru is actually Kokoro’s fan, the same as Futoshi. Hiro receives a message saying that they get the tickets for XX:me debut live stage. The boys become excited and starts singing the chorus.

In the real world, Zorome is still singing Torikago in his sleep and Goro comments that it's a good song. The girls come into the living room and are surprised to see Zorome and Futoshi asleep. Miku asks what happened to Zorome and Futoshi and assumes they were fighting with a happy voice. After the boys explain what happened, Hiro looks at Zero Two and begins to laugh, remembering his dream earlier about her. Miku decides to eat a mushroom, despite Kokoro’s protests, and she falls asleep.

In Miku's dream, she is in an idol group with Kokoro, Ikuno, Ichigo and Zero Two called XX:me. Miku says her thanks to the fans who attend XX:me debut live stage. Kokoro says that the everyone's support has reached them to the stage, Mitsuru and Futoshi are cheering for her. Zero Two says her speech and says she loves her Darlings. Zorome shouts that her Darling is him, and Hiro answers that he is the Darling. Ikuno says she is here now because she has reliable friends, and then turns to Ichigo. Ichigo says that if it’s not for Ikuno, she wouldn’t be here and Goro cheers for her. Miku says that the next song is the last one, and Ichigo announces that they will sing Torikago.

In the real world, Kokoro tries waking Miku up but fail. Kokoro blames herself for not stopping Miku from eating the mushroom and Mitsuru assures her that Miku is the same as Zorome, they don't listen. Kokoro notices Mitsuru is staring at her and she gets embarrassed. Ikuno teases Mitsuru that he always stares at Kokoro’s thighs. Blushing, Mitsuru denies this and says he is staring at Miku for sleeping on Kokoro’s lap like an idiot. Miku starts singing Torikago in her sleep. Mitsuru notices that it is the same song Zorome was singing in his sleep and Goro says that they can't resist the bond of partners.

Zero Two starts encouraging Hiro to eat mushrooms with her but he refuses. Zero Two teases Hiro to eat the mushroom using a seductive voice, which makes them look like they are flirting. Jealous of Zero Two's flirtation and teasing towards Hiro, Ichigo snatches a mushroom from Goro and decides to eat it, and she falls asleep.

In Ichigo's dream, she is a delinquent student in an all-girls school, Mistilteinn, and Hiro is her homeroom teacher. Hiro enters the classroom and announces that they will welcome a transfer student. The class becomes noisy and Ichigo tells the class to calm down and Hiro feels relieved for a short while, before Ichigo reveals that she is looking down on him too. Hiro starts to question his decision of being a teacher. Zero Two enters the classroom and calls the school boring, which angers Miku. A student points out that Zero Two is the "3-Second Killer", if anyone lock eyes with her for 3 seconds, that person will die. Miku dismisses the rumor. Zero Two asks Hiro if he is her homeroom teacher, and Hiro asks if she is the transfer student. Zero Two declares that Hiro is her sensei and then kisses him. Ikuno is enraged by this and attempts to separate them but Ichigo stops her. Ichigo admits that she actually has liked Hiro for a very long time. Ichigo then asks Zero Two to meet her at the back of school building after school.

In the real world, Ichigo is mumbling about her and Zero Two, worrying Goro and Ikuno. Ikuno contemplates eating a mushroom, despite Goro’s protests. She explains that she wants to know more about Ichigo and be the person who understands her the most. She then meticulously recites how Ichigo bathes and sleeps, much to Goro’s confusion but Mitsuru says he can’t say he doesn’t understand what Ikuno is saying. Ikuno says she just wants to know things about Ichigo she doesn’t know. Mitsuru suggests that they all eat the mushroom because having a dream, no matter how foolish it is, may bring them some relief. Kokoro agrees after seeing her friends' blissful face and Goro also relents, despite having protests before. All four eat the mushrooms and immediately fall asleep. Hiro also gives in, agrees to eat the mushroom with Zero Two.

Before they can eat it, Nana and Hachi step in to stop them. Hiro asks what the mushroom is but Nana tries to rationalize that this will be troublesome if the entire squad is asleep. Hachi says that it's probably one of Dr. Franxx's experiments. Zero Two shoves a mushroom into Nana and Hachi’s mouths, causing them to fall asleep. In their respective dreams, they both envision being admired and looked up to by the children as they are their teachers.

Hiro narrates that after everyone wakes up, Nana scolds them and Hachi gives them a warning. The mushrooms is then thrown away by Hachi and Nana. Zorome says that he was having a weird dream, as he was singing a song called Torihada in a small room. Miku corrects him, saying it was Torikago and then they realize they are having the same dream. Goro asks Ikuno about her dream and she says she doesn't remember much but it was a wonderful one. Kokoro comments that Futoshi looks so happy in his sleep and he becomes embarrassed. Mitsuru says that he couldn't sleep due to Futoshi’s snoring. Hiro says good night to everyone and then they go to their rooms.

The next morning, Hiro wakes up in his bed and he is surprised when he sees Zero Two laying next to him in the bed. She reveals she hid some of the mushrooms after Hachi and Nana discarded them because she wanted to eat one together with him so they can share a dream together. Hiro finally agrees and they both eat the mushrooms. After falling asleep, they have the same dream in which Zero Two is riding a bike with Hiro through a row of cherry blossom trees and they promise to be together forever.

Trivia

• In Miku’s dream, she and the girls are part of an idol group called XX:me, which is a band in real life. It was formed by the Japanese voice actresses of Zero Two, Ichigo, Kokoro, Miku, and Ikuno, who sung all the ending themes of the anime.
• Strangely, the dreams of Goro, Ikuno, Mitsuru and Kokoro are never revealed. It is possible that Goro and Ikuno both dreamed of Ichigo (as both wanted to know more about her), Mitsuru dreamed about Kokoro (as he hinted he wanted to know about her), and Kokoro dreamed about everyone being peaceful (as she wanted to have some relief)
